The MP6000 offers true swipe-and-go scanning with omni-directional 360° 6-sided scanning plus a large horizontal window and a large edge-to-edge vertical window, which provide a very wide active scanning area.

Customers are rapidly adopting electronic bar codes that represent loyalty cards, discount coupons and gift cards for their value and convenience, since they can be stored on the one device they have with them at all times — their mobile phones. With the optional Customer Side Scanner of MP6000, you can give your shoppers the convenience of scanning bar codes displayed on the screen of their mobile phones that represent electronic coupons, loyalty cards and more, as well as traditional paper coupons and plastic loyalty cards. Cashiers never need to ask customers to hand over their mobile phones to scan mobile bar codes, eliminating the liability for damages incurred if a cashier accidentally drops a shopper’s phone. You can order the MP6000 with this accessory or add it at any time — it simply snaps onto either side of the MP6000.

MP 6000 scans bar codes at a higher rate than any laser bioptic scanner available today. Minimize breakdown and maintenance costs — there are no moving parts in the scan engine. Unlike laser scanners, there is no motor noise, so the MP6000 is practically silent. The best-in-class sapphire glass in the horizontal scan window is the hardest and most durable glass available, easily withstanding the thousands of products that slide over it every day.

Order the MP6000 with or without a scale, and a scale can be added at any time. The standard MP6000 scale measures 0-15kg in 5g increments.  This is suitable for almost all applications.  As an extra-cost option, Motorola offers a dual-interval scale, which measures 0-6kg in 2g increments and 6-15kg in 5g increments.

Where a scale display is mandatory or used by choice, Motorola offers single- and dual-head options. The MP6000 is offered in the three most common lengths, and a single depth that suits both EU seated cashier rules and the global market. 

Bioptic imager MP6000 supports the Checkpoint or Sensormatic system — no need to spend time and money to upgrade. Each MP6000 ships with a Checkpoint antenna included, ready for connection.
